Research Goals The primary challenge to control system design is the unknown dynamic changes in the physical system (as a result of faults due to component aging, damage, and failure), operating environment, and user behaviors. Our research strives to bring us closer to the goal of self-situational awareness and self-adapting intelligent systems, hence offering improved system performance, safety, reliability, availability, and reduced maintenance cost. We are pleased to annouce ten open summer research positions for undergraduates at the NSF funded REU site |
