Dr. Garber received his B.S. degree (with honors) in Electrical
Engineering from Tri-State University, Angola, IN in 1975, and the M.S.
and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of
Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1978 and 1983, respectively. From 1983
to 1990 he was an assistant professor with the Department of Electrical
Engineering and the ElectroScience Laboratory at The Ohio State
University, Columbus. In September, 1990 he joined the faculty at Wright
State University as an assistant professor of electrical engineering.
His research interests are in the areas of decision theory, information
theory and pattern recognition, with applications to automatic target
recognition; and communication theory, with emphasis on modulation
techniques for multipath fading channel communications.
