Undergraduate Certificate Program in Contemporary Programming
Objective: To provide an undergraduate experience in
contemporary programming techniques for practitioners of programming in
other more classical methodologies and practices.
Admission Requirements
- At least 3 years of industrial experience in the programming field.
- A Baccalaureate degree.
Program Requirements (20 hrs)
CS 240 (4 Hrs) Computer Programming I or
CS 214 (4 Hrs) Visual Basic Programming
CEG 233 (4 Hrs) Linux and Windows and
CEG 355 (4 Hrs) Introduction to the Design of Information Technology Systems
CS 241 (4 Hrs) Computer Programming II and
CS 242 (4 Hrs) Computer Programming III
NOTE: If the degree held is not in engineering,
computer science, or a related mathematical or scientific field,
students must either petition to waive the mathematics co-requisites for
CS 24x or take those co-requisite courses.
