Dr. Taylor received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University
of Dayton in 1979, his M.S. in mathematics from Wright State University,
and his A.B. in mathematics and physics from Wilmington College. Prior to
joining the WSU faculty in 1997, he conducted research and software
development as a physicist and aerospace engineer at Wright-Patterson AFB.
More recently he has held computer staff and research/teaching positions at
Sinclair Community College and the University of Dayton. Dr. Taylor has
conducted funded research in optimization, numerical analysis methods for
nonlinear dynamical systems, and applied artificial intelligence.
