Undergraduate Admission Information
(Effective June 1, 2009)
The following requirements must be met to grant admission to the College of
Engineering and Computer Science:
- Completion of 24 or more quarter credit hours of college level work
- 2.25 cumulative GPA at WSU and in all academic work
- C or higher grade in

- Biomedical Engineering - Grade of C or higher in CEG 220, CHM
121/125 or PHY 240/200, and EGR 101 (or MTH 229 & MTH 230)
- Computer Engineering - Grade of C or higher in CS 240 and MTH 257
- Computer Science - Grade of C or higher in CS 240 and MTH 257
- Electrical Engineering - Grade of C or higher in CEG 220 or CS 240,
CHM 121/125 or PHY 240/200, and EGR 101 (or MTH 229 & MTH 230)
- Engineering Physics - Grade of C or higher in CEG 220 or CS 240 or
EGR 153, CHM 121/125 or PHY 240/200, and EGR 101 (or MTH 229 & MTH 230)
- Industrial and Systems Engineering - Grade of C or higher in CEG 220 or CS 240,
CHM 121/125 or PHY 240/200, and EGR 101 (or MTH 229 & MTH 230)
- Mechanical Engineering - Grade of C or higher in ME 102, CHM
121/125 or PHY 240/200, and EGR 101 (or MTH 229 & MTH 230)
- Materials Science and Engineering - Grade of C or higher in ME 102, CHM
121/125 or PHY 240/200, and EGR 101 (or MTH 229 & MTH 230)
